The History of the House:

The Lamiable family settled in Tours-sur-Marne in the 18th century. In 1859, Louis-Hippolyte Lamiable built the current family home. Originally farmers, the Lamiable brothers had to take over the family responsibilities after the death of their father during World WarI. Following World War II, in 1955, Pierre Lamiable diversified the estate’s activities by planting vines. His son, Jean-Pierre, though a doctor by profession, returned to the family business in the 1970s, becoming a winemaker and merchant. In 2003, Ophélie, his daughter, returned to her roots to carry on the family tradition, supported by her husband.
