Champagne Taittinger

THE LEGACY OF A FAMILY

Champagne Taittinger’s rich heritage has been passed down for seven generations in keeping with tradition, skill and uncompromisingly high standards of quality. Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger dedicated more than 45 years of his life to the Champagne House and steered the company’s fortunes as president for 13 years. In 2020, he has now been succeeded by his daughter Vitalie, who joined her father back in 2007 to preserve the family spirit of the company. Supported by her brother Clovis, both continue the tradition of the house. Together with a passionate team, the family strives tirelessly to make the star of the Taittinger brand shine all over the world – a true mission of happiness!

CHAMPAGNE TAITTINGER ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND SUSTAINABLE VITICULTURE

Taittinger’s vineyards now cover 288 hectares across 37 different cru sites, some of the best in Champagne. A pioneer in the field, Taittinger has already greened 90% of its vineyards, which is unique in Champagne for a winery of its size. On its way to becoming a 100% organically managed winery, Taittinger is working persistently to convert to sustainable viticulture and was certified for this in 2017 with “Haut Valeur Environnementale” and “Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne”.
